Thank You

The committee would like to thank everyone who made this year’s show a success.

We would like to thank those who helped erect/dismantle our field in poor weather and helped with car parking, in particular: Andrew Nicolson, Alan Adamson, David Adamson, Sam Pearson, Stuart Downing, Shetland Young Farmers and the TA Cadets.

Thanks to all outlets for supplying schedules, and to the judges and stewards who tended to 1871 entries; all our sponsors including our main sponsor A Jarmson Shetland Ltd; gate keepers, candy floss makers, raffle tickets sellers & the First Aiders; Wilma Thomson who cleaned all 123 trophies and Robin Hunter who presented them. Also thanks to MC Liam Brannan who stepped in at short notice and all who participated in the Shetland Neuk.

For making the Show a good visitor experience we thank the 70+ tradestands, and to those who took vintage tractors to the show. Thank you to Joan Smith for organising the sports and Cee & Jays for sponsoring the medals.  For children’s entertainments we would like to thank, SCYC, Hame fae Hame and the Shetland Family Centre. Thanks to those who donated raffle prizes.

Finally, a big thank you to the exhibitors who produced an excellent array of exhibits and the visiting public for making all the effort worthwhile. Hope to see you all in 2023.
